Wasp
Identification in progress
Likely a type of parasitic wasp. The female wasps have ovipositors that they use to pierce through bark and lay their eggs inside of orther insect larvae. After hatching, the wasp larvae will consume their host larva from the inside out. Male wasps are unable to sting since stingers are just modified ovipositors that can females can use to deliver venom.
