Spotless Ladybug
Cycloneda cf. sanguinea
Spotless ladybugs are a native species to the Galapagos Islands and aid in pest control of aphids, scalebugs, and other plant eating insects. Another ladybug that can be found in the galapagos is the Australian ladybug which was brought to the islands in 2002 as a form of pest control to save native plants from the cottony cushion scale.
